Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021 marks the first-ever Differences Day!
This day is to celebrate our many differences!
From the Special Olympics Canada's website: "Special Olympics Canada is proud to be a part of this important day... Through a shared vision for a more inclusive future for children and our future leaders, the collaboration is designed to champion differences and celebrate them, early on in life."
Special Olympics Canada spotlighted Sosena Tezera and her son, Emmanuel, and their story about the importance of embracing differences and championing inclusive spaces.
